Hindus worship the Gau (Cow); it is regarded as an abode of Hindu Gods and Goddesses. It is believed that one can attain liberation by simply serving a cow. Our scriptures praise the glory of the cow as not only as sacred but also as an auspicious of all being. Hindus have given the cow the position of a mother. Worshiping the cow takes us to the path of attaining Artha, Dharma, Kama, and Moksha.
